Terms of Service

1. Who these terms cover

These Terms of Service are between NabShift ("NabShift", "we", "us", "our") and the security staffing company that signs up for the service (the "Customer", "you", "your"). If you're a worker using NabShift to see shifts, claim them, or receive text messages, you do so under your employer or engaging company's agreement with us — these terms govern the Customer relationship, not a separate contract with each worker.

2. The service

NabShift provides scheduling software for security staffing companies: a shift claim board where workers see and claim open posts, SMS notifications for shift offers and confirmations, and timekeeping tools for check-in/check-out and payroll export. The service is described accurately on our site as of the date you read it; we don't promise features that aren't built yet.

3. Accounts & access

The Customer controls its own roster: who's added, who's removed, and who has admin access. Keep sign-in credentials safe and don't share admin access outside people authorized to use it. The Customer is responsible for activity under its account.

4. Acceptable use

5. Text messaging

SMS notifications sent through NabShift are governed by our SMS Terms, including how workers opt in, how they opt out by replying STOP, and how that consent is always honored. Nothing in these Terms overrides the SMS Terms.

6. Fees & billing

NabShift is billed at a flat monthly price by active crew size, as published on the pricing section of our site, plus an optional flat monthly texting add-on. Billing is month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime. Your rate is locked for your first twelve (12) months on a plan; if you remain subscribed after that period, we may adjust your rate at renewal — never mid-term, and never because of a single high-usage month or event. Current pricing always lives on that page, not in this document.

7. Customer data

Your roster, schedule, and message data belong to you. NabShift processes it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you leave, your data exports on request.

8. Service changes & availability

NabShift is provided on an "as available" basis — we don't promise a specific uptime figure. We may update, add, or remove features over time, and we'll notify you of material changes that affect how you use the service.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. NabShift is a scheduling tool — it does not provide security services, act as an employer, run payroll, or give legal or compliance advice. The Customer remains responsible for its own employment, scheduling, and compliance decisions. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

10. Termination

Either side can end this agreement at any time. On termination, the Customer's access ends and its data remains available for export for a reasonable window afterward, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
